All submissions are manually reviewed before appearing in the directory.

Warp Point is a submission-based directory open to independent gaming websites with a focus on writing: Newsletters, personal blogs, and more. It's free to join, and adding the companion webring embed to your own site is completely optional. There are only a few criteria and requirements to join:

• Your site must be dedicated to video games, or cover them as a significant portion of the total spread of topics
• Warp Point is primarily dedicated to writing about games: While we welcome preservationists and podcasters who write alongside collecting archival material and publishing audio, we don't think wikis or sites that operate purely as a podcast feed are a great fit
• You must have an RSS feed for Warp Point to ingest
• Sites hosted on Substack currently aren't accepted, sorry. (Read more about why on the About page.)
• You must submit an 88x31 pixel image (static or animated!) that will represent your site

Unsure how to go about making a button? Check out this collection for inspiration, and use an online button generator from Datakra.sh or Hekate2 if you need help.

We'd like to include writers who publish exclusively on Patreon, but the platform unfortunately only offers RSS feeds for podcasts, not posts. If Patreon ever adds full RSS functionality, it will be supported. (Writers who have both a website and a Patreon page are welcome to list the latter as their subscription sign-up page).

While this directory is not focused on curation, no sites will be accepted that promote racism, hate speech, or other content deemed inappropriate by its maintainers.

Finally, please don't make us be the AI police. If you create text, imagery, or vibe code using generative AI, we ask you not to submit to the directory. Warp Point is meant to uplift human writers and artists, not the regurgitatations of LLMs.

We reserve the right to remove sites at our discretion.
